By confirming your booking with AWAY, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are intended to ensure a peaceful experience for guests and protect the safety, privacy, and unique mangrove environment of the property.
Alcohol Policy
Alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited on the entire premises. Violation of this policy may result in a fine of AED 1,000, and guests may be required to vacate the premises immediately without refund.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the RV. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas, excluding the platform. Any damage caused to wooden features or the property due to smoking may be deducted from the security deposit.
Eco-Friendly Environment
AWAY is located in a protected mangrove reserve and is committed to maintaining an eco-friendly environment. Guests are expected to treat the property and its natural surroundings with care and respect.
Pets
Pets are not allowed on the property. This helps protect the furnishings, the guest environment, and the surrounding local wildlife.
Cleanliness and Property Care
Guests are asked to treat the accommodation with care and leave it in the same condition in which it was found. AWAY is presented as a luxury space, and guests are expected to respect both the interior and exterior areas throughout their stay.
Cooking Policy
Indoor cooking is prohibited. Guests must use the outdoor kitchen and BBQ area for cooking activities.
Guest Capacity
The maximum overnight capacity is strictly 6 guests. Day visitors are permitted up to 16 guests for day use only, and any additional guest is subject to prior approval.
Child Safety
Due to the property’s proximity to water, the bridge, and the pool area, parents and guardians are fully responsible for the safety and supervision of children at all times during the visit.
Damage Responsibility
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to furniture, equipment, including cinema and BBQ equipment, or the structure during their stay. Costs for repair or deep cleaning may be deducted from the security deposit. If the total cost exceeds the deposit amount, the guest remains responsible for the difference.
Use of Facilities at Own Risk
Guests use all facilities, including the swimming pool, outdoor areas, and related amenities, at their own risk. AWAY team and management are not liable for accidents, injuries, illnesses, losses, or damage that may occur during the stay.
Pool, Bridge, and Elevated Areas
AWAY is not equipped with lifeguard or rescue services, and guests are strongly advised not to swim alone. The property includes an elevated pool area with an open-edge view, a floating bridge, mangrove surroundings, and a bridge leading to the iconic floating frame sitting zone without protective barriers. Guests must exercise extreme caution while using these areas.
Personal Belongings
AWAY team and management are not responsible for any loss or damage to guests’ personal belongings.
Celebrations and General Conduct
Celebrations and small gatherings are welcome, provided that guests maintain a peaceful atmosphere and avoid loud music or disturbance to the neighborhood. Guests must respect the property, neighbors, and community standards at all times. Guests who violate these policies may be asked to vacate the property immediately without refund.
Payment Terms
To secure a booking, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining 50% must be paid 2 days prior to arrival. All payments made toward bookings are non-refundable.
Security Deposit
A security deposit of AED 2,000 is required via bank transfer prior to check-in. This deposit is fully refundable within 24 hours after check-out, subject to a damage inspection.
Cancellation Policy
Bookings are final. In line with AWAY’s stated policy, payments are non-refundable in the event of cancellation or no-show.
Booking Inquiries
Inquiry details may include guest name, number of guests, special occasion, check-in date, check-out date, and additional notes. Submitted inquiries are reviewed by the team, and availability is checked accordingly, with a response intended within 24 hours.
